Age of Revolutions published essays first presented at the conference “Who is a Refugee? Concepts of Exile, Refuge and Asylum, c.1750-1850,” which took place on 30 June – 1 July 2022 at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany. You can learn more about the European Research Council-funded project at their website here.

Starting in 2020, Age of Revolutions has been publish the “Selected Papers” of the annual Consortium on the Revolutionary Era conference, a world-renown conference. The papers will be freely accessible to all interested in current research on the revolutionary era.

From 2018-2019, we worked on a site redesign with Lynn Hunt and Jack Censer’s Liberty, Equality, Fraternity: Exploring the French Revolution resource website on the French Revolution. The site contains over 600 primary sources translated into English related to the French Revolution. The site also has exploratory essays perfect for in-class use. Check out he redesign!
